REASON FOR THE RECALL:
Schering-Plough HealthCare Products, Inc., also doing business as Merck Consumer Care, is voluntarily recalling MiraLAX® 30 Once Daily Doses Bottle manufactured since August 2009 from both distribution centers and retail stores. No other MiraLAX® product is affected by this recall. The recall is being initiated due to the potential for defective cap liners generated during the packaging process that were discovered as part of the company's quality control processes. After careful examination, no significant adverse health consequences are expected to occur as a result of the use of these lots of MiraLAX®.
Please return any affected product to your local Glen's Markets. The deadline for returns is July 29, 2010.
